Newsweek released its 2009 Green Rankings, rating the 500 largest U.S. companies on the sustainability of their practices. 4 of the top 5 slots were given to technology companies, HP, DELL, INTEL and IBM.

> HP, focus on GHGs programs and it is the first major IT company to report GHG emissions associated with its supply chain.

> DELL, focus on carbon neutrality and product take-back & recycling programs.

> INTEL, focus on renewable energy, waste reduction and release of toxics programs.
